But this is the Chicken Jefferson at Chef Ron’s Gumbo Stop in Metairie, LA. Boneless chicken breast fried southern style topped with shrimp and crawfish cream sauce. Holy cow, this is good.

Yup. Kind of a spur of the moment thing. Visited the WWII Museum (excellent!) and kicking around French Quarter tomorrow. Saturday is ComicCon to see Stan Lee. Home Sunday. Here with Mrs. Ttyymmnn’s brother.

It WAS good. We stopped here on a whim. It’s a small local place and now the line is out the door. We chose well.

I live less than 2 hours from Metairie. Gonna have to go check that place out. Cajun food, when done right, is some of the best stuff ever.
